Jakarta -<\/strong> The global COVID-19 pandemic presents serious challenges for the tourism and supporting sectors.\r\n\r\nIn line with that, collaboration of all parties is needed in responding to this pandemic to maintain operational and service aspects.\r\n\r\nToday, August 26, 2021, seven affiliated companies from a number of state-owned enterprises in the tourism ecosystem and supporters signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Business Cooperation in the Sub Cluster Facility Management.\r\n\r\nThe seven companies are:\r\n\r\n- PT Angkasa Pura Support and PT Angkasa Pura Properti (subsidiaries of PT Angkasa Pura I)\r\n- PT Angkasa Pura Solusi and PT Angkasa Pura Propertindo (subsidiaries of PT Angkasa Pura II)\r\n- PT Aero Wisata and PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (a subsidiary of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk)\r\n- PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (a subsidiary of PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk)\r\n\r\nDirector of the Project Management Office (PMO) of Tourism BUMN Holding and Supporter Edwin Hidayat Abdullah said the signing of this MoU was the first step in strengthening cooperation between actors in the tourism ecosystem and supporters.\r\n\r\n\"The purpose of the MoU which will be followed up with this collaboration is to improve aspects of service to the community, and strengthen operations as well as increase efficiency in services and provision of facilities to face the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic,\" explained Edwin.\r\n\r\nEdwin said the cooperation would include an independent operation maintenance program, an integrated smart cleaning system, waste management, resource & shared services, the provision of information technology-based application services, and other programs.\r\n\r\n\"The seven subsidiaries of Tourism and Supporting SOEs have their respective advantages, which if collaborated, will mutually strengthen operational and service aspects that have a positive impact on the competitiveness of tourism and national aviation,\" said Edwin.\r\n\r\nThe holding companies of the seven companies that signed the MoU today, namely PT Angkasa Pura I, PT Angkasa Pura II and PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk will later join the Tourism and Supporting BUMN Holding.\r\n\r\nBUMN Holding Tourism and Supporters\r\n\r\nThe establishment of the Tourism and Supporting BUMN Holding is currently in the finalization stage.
