Meet Great Women Who Become Leaders in PT. Angkasa Pura Support
Gender equality has become a hot topic nowadays. In Indonesia itself, the Indonesian Human Capital Forum (FHCI) and SOE Srikandi invite all SOEs to jointly promote women’s leadership and gender equality. One of the steps is initiate the issue of gender equality in the world of work through a campaign program entitled Girls Take Over in 2021, which targets young women to be able to experience the world of work in BUMN. The Minister of BUMN, Mr. Erick Thohir, encourages women’s leadership by providing equal opportunities for them to work and have careers within BUMN; he wants the portion of women’s representation in BUMN strategic positions to increase to 25% in 2023.
The role of women today is considered that of a natural leader who holds balance in the professional world and in the household. Women have the right to express what they really want for themselves without being affected by societal stigma or family demands that are threatening.
Women’s leadership in APS is implemented with several positions led by great and qualified women. Introducing Inna Hakim as VP Corporate Secretary, Shintauli Widya VP Finance & Risk Management, Yani Risnawati VP Commercial, Indi Aisyah Corporate Planning Manager, Dara Farasita Corporate Administration Manager, Anindita Noviandari Performance & Management System Manager, Titik Budi Operational Audit Manager, Nafita Afrilliyanti Commercial AP I Manager, Eva Irawaty Tax & Treasury Manager, Ayudya Wahyuniar Risk Management Manager, Riecki Amanda Purchasing Manager, Nisha Alifani HR Services & Compensation Benefit Manager.
With so much support and movement towards gender equality, there should be no more restrictions or prohibitions for women to work and lead in various aspects of life, especially in the BUMN work environment.
“Too many studies have stated that women are not weak but are the greatest force that can drive the world’s economic progress.” Sri Mulyani
